Bull terriers have oversized personalities packed into muscular little bodies. They are comedians, professional couch hogs, expert toy destroyers, occasional velociraptors, and some of the most loyal companions you will ever meet.
Sometimes, though, life has not been kind to them.
Fostering is one of the most important gifts you can give a bull terrier. You become their safe place while they wait for the family that will love them forever. You help them learn that people can be trusted, that beds are comfy, that toys are fun, and that life can actually be pretty wonderful.
You get all the love, laughs, goofy antics, and unforgettable memories, while helping save a life.
First and foremost, you love them.
You give them a safe home where they can relax, decompress, and simply be a dog. Some need a confidence boost. Some need extra cuddles. Some just need someone who understands that zoomies at 9:47 at night are apparently mandatory.
Love, patience, structure, and plenty of belly rubs. Meeting both their physical and emotional needs while they settle in.
Transport to vet appointments and adoption meet-and-greets when needed, and giving medications if they are on any.
Updates on how they are doing, and we love photos. Tell us right away if they get sick or hurt so we can get them care.
Not every bull terrier is the same. Some are couch potatoes. Some are hiking buddies. Some think squirrels are public enemy number one. Some believe every human exists solely to admire them.
Before a dog ever comes to your home, we will talk with you about your family's lifestyle, activity level, pets, kids, and overall vibe. We will also be completely honest about the dog's personality, energy level, medical needs, quirks, and behaviors.

We cover all common and unavoidable veterinary care while your foster is with us.
Necessary supplies, prescription medications, and special diets when they are medically required.
Worried about the cost of food? Do not let that stop you. If fostering is on your heart but buying food would be a hardship, talk with us. If you are a great fit, we will provide the food too.
It happens. A foster looks at the dog asleep on their couch and realizes that dog is already home. In rescue we call it a foster fail, and it is the only kind of failing anyone celebrates.
If you fall for your foster, tell us. We will walk you through the adoption the same as anyone else, and we will be happy for both of you.
